No. 23 Virginia Tech returns home on Saturday night to face the Boston College Eagles after spending the past two weekends on the road. 

Saturday’s contest between Virginia Tech and Boston College marks the 29th time the two programs have faced head-to-head in school history with Virginia Tech holding an 18-10 record all-time.  The Hokies are 7-5 all-time against Boston College in Blacksburg.

– The voice of Virginia Tech, John Laaser, will not call the contest on Saturday night due to COVID-19 contact tracing.



– Virginia Tech safeties Devine Deablo and Keonta Jenkins are expected to play tonight for Virginia Tech.  Deablo has missed the last two games while Jenkins was out last week against North Carolina.

– Offensive tackle Luke Tenuta is out, per his Instagram.

– Defensive tackle Dashawn Crawford is warming up, per various reports. Crawford has been limited all season.

– Virginia Tech has announced they will be without 13 players including Jalen Holston, Darryle Simmons, Tahj Gary, Walker Culver, Kaden Moore, Luke Tenuta, Jaden Payoute, J.R. Walker, Jermaine Waller, and Nasir Peoples
