Sex As a Natural Treatment For Gout

I wanted to laugh when I first came across this rather ridiculous suggestion on some of the online sources about natural treatments for gout. After the initial state of skepticism, I decided to do some study about this interesting topic about having sex as a natural treatment for gout.

Well, it must somehow works on some of the gout patients until this method is widely spread as one of the treatment option for gout. Some people think it works, but they just cannot explain how it works on reducing the inflammation and pain of the notorious gout attacks. Before I explain how to have good sex as one of the method of treating your gout, you must first understand the chemistry of sex.

We all know about the temptation and good feelings that good sex gives us. That is part of our natural instinct, and having a healthy sex life plays an important role in maintaining the well being of our body and mind.

Scientists call sex as a melting pot of the soup of bio-chemicals, the hormones. This scientific statement may somehow kills away some of the romantic side of sex, but whatever you feel as the result of sex can actually be explained by simple science. It is not a matter of what happens between your legs, it is about the chemical reactions happen between your ears.

There are a few vital hormones that contribute the pleasures (and pain relief) we feel during sexual intercourse. It starts with dopamine, which is one of the brain’s pleasure chemicals. Dopamine is released in the ‘reward centre’ of the brain when we see something that arouses our desire, such as good food and attractive partner. Dopamine increases the pulse rate and cardiac functions which result in the ‘blushing’ effect in some people.

During sexual orgasm, your brain will push the amount of dopamine to the max and then bring it down right after the climax with the release of prolactin which prevents you from over indulge in the rush of dopamine. Prolactin rises sharply immediately after orgasm and it is what gives you the “full” feeling after your intimate moment. Prolactin disengages you from sex after orgasm and makes room for your mind to think of other things besides the naked person lying next to you.

Beside the roller coaster ride of dopamine, there are two other sex related neurotransmitters that contribute to the whole sensation of sex. Oxytocin, which is also known as the “cuddling hormone” is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland when you feel the affection to someone you love dearly. Oxytocin helps in creating a strong bond between you and your lover.

Oxytocin stimulates the production of endorphin which is the ‘happy neuro chemical’ that produces the feelings of ecstasy and pleasure. Endorphins fill you with a sense of well-being and relaxation, and sometimes might even drift you off to sleep. Endorphin has a similar chemical structure of morphine and that explains why it has the …

The Internet Lifestyle For College Students

The reality that most college students are facing when they graduate from school are either.

One.

They will not be able to find a job.

Two.

If they do find a job, it won’t be the one that they want to work at.

Which is why starting an internet business in their dorm room and working on it around their schedule is the best option for them.

Many go out and do part-time work, but that is really a waste of time.

Students would better off using that same amount of time to working on an internet business that will start bringing them in passive income.

There are 2 types of income that you can earn.

Active income- the amount you are paid for by the hour for being there.

Passive Income- money coming to you, whether or not you working or not!!

See the difference?

Your main goal in your career is to set up a business that allows you to earn MASSIVE passive income daily!!

This what the schools aren’t teaching their students and it is a huge problem in our society.

Okay, now that you understand the difference between active and passive income.

Here are the 4 steps to starting your online business from your dormitory and living the internet lifestyle.

1). Target a market or niche.

2). Set-up a 1-page opt-in site.

3). Drive a lot of traffic to that site.

4). Monetize that traffic.

This is an outline of what your internet business should look like.

Now, let go little more into details here about each step.

Targeting a niche.

Do your research and find out what type of problems your classmates are facing in school or look to find a product or market that is being underserved.

Once you find it.

Go get a product or service that can solve that problem.

It’s really that simple.

Also, make sure that the market you choose is full of hungry prospects.

Because the market will always determine the niche that you choose.

After you find your affiliate product.

Buy a domain name and set up a 1-page site.

You will need to write up a short 12-page report that you give away to people who opt-in to your newsletter.

Your report must be of value to your prospect, because you want to build trust with them.

Next, do videos to drive traffic to your site.

I would interview experts and then link your site in the resource box.

Start a Facebook group as well.

Write a few articles or share some in your newsletter.

The next thing is to start making money from all your previous efforts.

You should have already signed up with a ClickBank/Commission Junction and any other affiliates.

It’s free too, so don’t worry about that.

I like to contact companies who don’t have an affiliate program and then help them create one and create a distribution channel from it.

Look, this is just an outline that any college student can use.

Keep …

Effective Cover Letters for Teaching Jobs Abroad

When you are getting serious about landing a teaching job abroad you need to consider how you are going to do it. Are you going to register with a international teaching job fair organiser like Search-Associates? Are you going to register with The International Educator (TIE) and get international teaching job alerts emailed to you daily? Are you going to trawl the internet for vacancies?

Whichever strategy or combination of strategies you choose to implement you will need to write an effective cover letter that sells you as the ideal candidate.

A great cover letter draws the recruiter in and leads them through your information and inspires them to look at your resume. It introduces you, outlines your experience and states why you are the best candidate for their position.

When writing your cover letter keep these suggestions in mind and you will increase the effectiveness of your letter:

Differentiate

While most recruiters are clued up enough to know that you are probably applying to more than just their international school, it is not good practice to make it obvious. When you write your cover letter you should include a sentence or two about why you want to teach at their school. Reasons you may include are; you have experience in the curricula offered, your children have experience in the curricula offered, you like teaching in small (big, single sex, co-ed) schools, or you have heard positive things about the school from other international teachers.

When you are differentiating you letter, address it to the recruiter if you can find their name on the website or from the advertisement and include the name of the school and location. These small, easy to implement ideas are the key to making each recruiter feel special and show them that you are interested in a job at ‘their’ school.

Be Selective and Adjust Accordingly

If you are job hunting as a teaching couple you need to have a couple of cover letters, or have paragraphs that you can cut and paste to make sure it is targeted. As a teaching couple you will ideally want to get a job at a school that has vacancies in your main teaching subjects. However, you may not be so lucky.

Teaching couples should lead with the strongest candidate and emphasise the experience and flexibility of the other teacher. For example, if you are a teaching couple with secondary maths and an elementary generalist you can apply for schools with openings in either of these areas. For an international school with a vacancy in the elementary school you would outline this person’s experience first and then you would discuss the maths teacher’s experience both in maths, in leadership, in extra curricula activities, etc. And vice versa if you find a school that has a maths vacancy.

Often school recruiters will do some ‘creative shuffling’ if they find a teaching couple they think will suit the school especially well.

Short is Best

Keep your cover letter short; leave …

Speakers & Trainers – Making Money in the Summer

As a trainer and speaker, particularly if you work with teachers, administrators, librarians, or other school district personnel, you may have the same question that was posted on my blog recently:

For those of us who work primarily with schools, what are some options we have for making money during the summer months? Especially if money is still a concern, this could be a stressful time. Ideas or suggestions?

1. Summer school presentations

Summer school sessions will be starting by early to mid-June and will continue through most of the summer. Contact the principals who are in charge of the various summer schools in your area and offer the type of workshops, presentations, consulting that you can do for them. I think this is an untapped area. These teachers need support as they work through the summer, possibly with some difficult situations, and when they, as teachers, have had very little break.

2. Camps

Look out, it's camp season coming right up! There are camps that are as short as a few days and the ones that last for 2 months and there are camps of every type and in every state. Do a Google search and see what you can find out. The camp counselors and the children / young adults could use ideas, support, presentations, etc. Do not delay if this sounds interesting to you.

3. Colleges & universities

This (like many of these) has several possibilities. You could do something for students. You could do something for faculty. You could do something at a "Kids University" that is a special summertime event. You could do something for staff at the university / college. Get on line and find out what is happening this summer at the colleges and universities near where you live (or where you'd like to go). Start making contacts. Definitely think outside the box on this one (that's a tired phrase … but you know what I mean).

4. Churches or other religious organizations

In the summertime, many churches and other religious groups have the equivalent of "Vacation Bible School." So I'd explore that option. There are many that volunteer their time for things like this, but having a professional come in and do something is a special treat, so check into that option. Also with religious organizations, there are always singles groups, parent groups, other folks who want to learn – and you can be there to teach them (and charge for that).

5. Year-round schools

Since many parts of the country now have year-round schools, summer takes on a whole new meaning. You have schools that are closing out one year in May or June and starting the next one in June or July (or August). Pretty much, in the "year-round-school world," there's always an opportunity for workshops and training and organizing (or whatever it is that you do). I am doing a back-to-school workshop for a school in June and another for a different school in July. You can, too.

What's a Career as a Mechanical Engineer Like?

Many engineers specialize in mechanical engineering. This subset of engineering revolves around the application of physical principles for mathematical analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. The industry is divided up into smaller areas of focus: mechanics, kinematics or movement, and the energy of physical objects. Let's take a look at what makes a career as a mechanical engineer so rewarding.

Challenging Work

Mechanical engineers use their knowledge of force, heat, mass and energy in design structures. They help research, design, test, create, maintain and monitor heating & cooling systems, vehicles and aircraft, bridges, buildings, machinery, industrial equipment and more.

A key focus in mechanical engineering is optimization. Work as a mechanical engineer focuses on optimizing ease and durability in projects, costs, safety and usefulness. Some tools frequently used by mechanical engineers for manufacturing projects are: CAD / CAM, CFD, FEA, milling machines, robots, CNCs and lathes.

Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and hottest tasks in the engineering field. …

Will Confidence Help To Make New Friends In College?

A while back, I was at a house party. I arrived with some friends. On the way to the house party we ran into another crew of people. The leader of that crew was very confident. He was louder than everyone, he kept egging on some of the guys in my crew just for the sake of causing drama. It was all in good fun. He put all of us into a good mood.

When we all got to the house, the party was not very exciting. Some people were dancing in a comatose fashion by themselves, one or two other people were "grinding", but that was it. Our crew of people were more excited to get to the party than the people who were in the party.

This confident guy I spoke about grabbed the cutest girl he could find. Dragged her to the dance floor, and immediately started "daggering" her. If you do not know what this is, it's a Jamaican dance move. Look it up on YouTube right now, and you'll understand exactly why everyone at the party immediately amped up their excitement by at least 1000%.

I was taken off my guard, (I rarely expect other guys to out do me at the party), so I was the second guy to grab a cute girl and we took the boring party, and turned it into one of the most electrifying bash I've seen in University.

When people are around someone with confidence, they feel relieved. It's like they have permission to do the things that they wanted to do in the first place. This is literally what people me when they say, "He was the life of the party." Without that confident guy, people would not feel like they had permission do have the fun that they were having.

People are silently looking to be lead, that's why when you have confidence, people follow you. There is a direct correlation between confidence and leadership. As the party went on, I noticed that EVERYONE in the room was looking at my confident friend. If he did something, that meant that they could too … However, while everyone was looking at my friend friend, he never noticed them, he only focused on himself. Confident people have the ability to forget outside circumstances and focus on only on themselves. They can do what the famous spiritual author Eckhart Tolle calls, "be present".

Being present, allows you to have that full confidence that other people admire you for. It is the opposite of being self conscious – or caring what other people think. Spiritual leaders have all sorts of weird esoteric methods for being present. I will teach you how, without getting to complicated.

Confidence and insecure are the opposite ends of the same spectrum. Do not try to get from one end to the other. This is too difficult. When you feel insecure at a party, just try to get to the half way point of the spectrum. That …
